There is no direct air service into Melaka; except from Sumatera, Indonesia Cities into Batu Berendam Airport. Visitors have to fly to KLIA or Singapore (Changi Airport). It takes 1 1/2 hours to reach Melaka from KLIA by taxi. These taxis are available at KLIA counters. Alternatively, you may choose to take the shuttle service to KL and then come to Melaka by bus.

If you are traveling by bus or taxi via Singapore, expect a 4-5 hour trip across the Causeway and through the Johor State before arriving in Melaka town.
