"Malaysia Welcomes The World" is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism to prepare the country for the Visit Malaysia Year campaign. The initiative was conceived to further make Malaysia tourist-friendly country.
The objectives of the "Malaysia Welcomes The World" (MWW) campaign are:

To change the mindsets of Malaysians to not only Think Tourism but more importantly, Act Tourism;
To upgrade the hospitality skills of Malaysians nationwide;
To consolidate best practices in hospitality services including courtesy and cleanliness; and
To improve communications competence including basic proficiency in a host of major foreign languages among tourism front liners.
The programme will target front liners in the tourism industry, government departments and members of the private sector. There will be train-the-trainer sessions, workshops at various levels for front liners in the hospitality trade and relevant.
